WHEN:   April 19, 2015 @ 1:00 pm – 3:00 pm
WHERE:   Kerrisdale Community Centre, West 42nd Avenue Entrance, 5851 West Boulevard, Vancouver, BC V6M 3W9, Canada
COST:   Free
CONTACT:   Robin Clark

Robin is a Vancouver based natural resource consultant and a registered professional forester. This tree and shrub walk will go through the basics of tree and shrub identification and then take a walk along surrounding streets observing specific characteristics of the species we encounter. We’ll return to the KCC at 2:30 to share tea and discuss the experience.

Knowledge of trees and shrubs makes the public more aware and comfortable in the place they live and call home. This experience will create a greater appreciation for nature and encourage participants to seek other outdoor activities in the urban ecosystem.
