Robin is a Vancouver based natural resource consultant and a registered professional forester. This tree and shrub walk will go through the basics of tree and shrub identification and then take a walk along surrounding streets observing specific characteristics of the species we encounter. We’ll return to the KCC at 2:30 to share tea and discuss the experience.

Knowledge of trees and shrubs makes the public more aware and comfortable in the place they live and call home. This experience will create a greater appreciation for nature and encourage participants to seek other outdoor activities in the urban ecosystem.

This event is wheelchair accessible event and can include all ages.

Meet at the entrance to the Kerrisdale Community Centre (KCC) on West 42nd Ave at 1:00 pm. Come dressed for the variable spring weather.
